Wellington E. Webb Office Building

BCER provided Mechanical Engineering design services for the new 600,000-sf Civic Center Office Building and the 80,000-sf renovation of the Annex One Building.  The Annex One Building is a designated Historic Building and has been placed on the National Historic Register.  It was the original building of the University of Denver Law School and has been occupied by the City and County of Denver for the past 20 years. Total construction costs for this project were $131,000,000.  The building was designed and completed in accordance with USGBC LEED Standards.  Although certification was not sought during the design and construction phase, the City and County of Denver later submitted the project as an existing Building and achieved a LEED Gold Certification.
