- What do you want to tell your building Owners? Pre-planning and involvement of stake-holders from the very start will pay off greatly.
- What surprises you every day? The things people do to each other.
- What Wit or Wisdom that you’ve received has stuck with you? If you do not have to make a decision when you are ‘hot’ don’t. Take the time to ‘cool’ before you decide. There will be many times you will not have that luxury.
- Where do you see the company in 25 years? Being led by the incredible group of ‘younger engineers’ we have today.
- What is your passion? My Wife.
- When have you been most satisfied in your life? Watching my children do the ‘extra step’ without being asked to do so.
- If you had 30 minutes of free time, how would you spend it? A walk with the dogs in the woods.
- How do you want to be remembered? As a friend.
- What do you want to be when you grow up? A good Dad/Husband/Brother/Son.

- What is the most rewarding aspect about your job? Designing a system that prompts the maintenance staff to say “Thank You. Thank You for the isolation valves, the labels, the space to work, a place to set down my toolbox, the automated redundancy, the …..”
- What inspires you? God’s Grace.
- What project or accomplishment would you consider to be one of the most significant in your career? CU Williams Village North: The first LEED Platinum student housing project in the history of the LEED program.
- If you weren’t with BCER what would you be doing? Wondering why I am not with BCER.
- What keeps you doing what you are doing? A desire to succeed.
- Why did you choose your profession? I enjoy designing systems.
