Since childhood, Chris has had a passion for drawing, sketching, and painting, which morphed into his college education and career as a drafter. This career path quickly lead him to a love of designing electrical systems. His expertise is in designing for K-12 and higher education, but he holds a wide range of experience in healthcare, transportation/airport, municipal offices, and commercial office buildings. Chris’s genius is in bringing lightness and levity to his conversations with others. This ability allows him to defuse tense situations so that team members can focus on and provide solutions to problems that may arise during the design and construction process.
Chris is inspired daily by his family – his wife and four adult children. They inspire him every day to do better and be better. Chris is also greatly inspired and motivated by the work he can do – especially in K-12 and Higher Education designs. Being able to contribute his abilities to the betterment of the students, teachers, and communities impacted by the building systems he designs gives his work meaning. His remarkable contributions to BCER led him to be elected an Associate of the company in 2018.
