Growing up, David had a fascination with figuring out how things worked. He loved taking apart things to understand the systems and processes that made them work. He was also very “hands-on”; building a treehouse with power and lighting, building a gazebo, creating a fishpond with waterfall, fixing up cars, and rebuilding engines. While his knowledge and expertise grew in these areas, he was stumped with figuring out electronics as you cannot physically see how circuit boards work. This curiosity led him to graduating college with an Electrical Engineering degree with a specialization in Integrated Circuits. He got into the MEP industry directly from college and has never looked back.

David is currently a Project Manager and Senior Technology Engineer. He was also elected an Associate for BCER in 2019. He has a wide breadth of experience designing electricity, lighting, and technology systems in healthcare, police/fire stations, K-12, higher education, industrial manufacturing, military and residential projects. David works within his genius by being a problem solver. He is able to look at issues from multiple angles to provide the best solution. He finds enjoyment in mentoring others, sharing his knowledge to help them learn and grow in their fields. He takes pride in the fruits of his labor as he sees the buildings he assists designing going up and becoming occupied.
