Boettcher Mansion

BCER Engineering provided Mechanical and Electrical services for the renovations of Jefferson County’s Historic Boettcher Mansion located on top of Lookout Mountain in Golden, Colorado.  The mansion was built in 1917 by Charles Boettcher and was used as a hunting lodge and summer home.  In 1970 this historic structure was donated to the County and subsequently use as the County’s premier venue for weddings and meetings.  The total project included renovations to the mansion, carriage house, and storage shed in addition to the addition of a new snow melt system along the walks.  The mechanical and electrical renovation included a new heating water system, a new DX and chilled water cooling system, distribution piping, controls, upgrades to site lighting, upgrades to interior lighting and power, new electrical service to comply with current codes, and new power for a future kitchen.
