Pikes Peak Hill Climb Museum

The Pikes Peak Hill Climb Museum is a 4,000SF addition to the existing Carriage Museum located at Broadmoor Hall on the Broadmoor campus in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  The electrical supply for the addition was fed from the existing Carriage Museum 400A, 480V3PH service.  The emergency lighting is connected to the existing Broadmoor Hall 275kW generator.  Lighting is 100% LED, consisting of downlights, track lights, decorative pendants, wraparounds and striplights incorporating LED T8 lamps.  Lighting is controlled via a relay panel with integral timeclock.  Override switches are provided adjacent to this panel for fine tuning of luminaires based on that day’s specific needs. Power for displays has been provided via wall mounted receptacles and floor or wall mounted boxes.  These boxes were provided with a quad receptacle and space for data and audiovisual.  Each quad receptacle is 1/2 switched and 1/2 unswitched.  The switched receptacle has been provided for connection of display lighting and is controlled via the lighting relay panel.
