Douglas County – Parker Library

BCER provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Fire Alarm Consulting services for three new libraries in Douglas County: Castle Pines Library, Lone Tree Library, and Parker County Library. Parker County Library, a large two-story building, is approximately 44,000 sf. Children are welcomed to play in the interactive play area in between the library’s frequent story-times. Local residents can utilize the digital creativity lab in addition to the library’s multiple high-tech study rooms and meeting spaces. The library features a café-style lounge and a quiet retreat on the second floor, with a comfortable seating area next to the fireplace. The new facility offers a convenient drive-through book drop-off and utilizes the latest technology systems. With the new technology and community spaces, the new library successfully reflects the community’s growth and needs for increased amenities, spaces, and services.
