Littleton Trailmark Fire Station #19

Littleton Fire Rescue (LFR) envisioned improving city-wide emergency response times with a new fire station in Trailmark. Due to a unique combination of funding sources, they needed a strategically tailored design that could balance the competing goals and limited funding for the project. Designed for multiple purposes, this new 7,850 SF facility accommodates for 24/7/365 fire, police, and public works services. The design not only meets the demands of LFR today, but is also flexible for the future with apparatus bays and bunkers for a long-term, fully functional EMS station. BCER provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Technology and Fire Protection Design services for the construction of the new fire station for LFR.  The facility includes an apparatus bay, fitness center, police and fire offices, public lobby entry, support areas, decontamination area, shop room, medical supplies, gang restroom/ shower rooms, sleeping quarters, kitchen-dining-dayroom area, laundry, and outdoor barbeque area.
