BCER provided Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services for the build-out of 93,000 sf. of space for a new data center, support office space, and the potential expansion of future data center space.  The new data center is 20,000 sf. with an additional 10,000 sf. for future expansion.  The remaining 63,000 sf. is office and support office space for the data center.  The data center is a TIER III data center with an A & B distribution system originating from two independent utility transformers.  All IT equipment is duel corded with independent distribution paths and all major mechanical equipment is duel powered.  This system was designed for a load in excess of 100Watts/sf. and backed up by multiple 2MW generators.  The system was also designed with a modular approach to allow flexibility for future expansions.
