Boulder County Courthouse – Plumbing Upgrade

The Boulder County Courthouse is located on the Pearl Street Mall at 1325 Pearl Street, Boulder Colorado. This historic facility, originally built in 1934 (Architect – Glen H. Huntington) to replace the courthouse destroyed by fire, is currently utilized by Boulder County staff. The original plumbing distribution piping needed replacement, and the restrooms were ready for an upgrade. With the assistance of Boulder County, BCER was able to confirm existing pipe routing (portions within original brick walls) and design a new piping distribution system. This system was installed in 2014-15. BCER designed the restroom upgrades, which created a better user experience and a maintainable system.
