Jeffco – Evergreen Middle School
Evergreen Middle School recently partially demolished and modernized its original 76,570 sf building. Additionally, 27,000 sf of new space allowed for new classrooms, restrooms, new kitchen, library, and an expanded multi-purpose room. The new area provided space to relocate educational programs previously conducted in portables.
Before any revisions were done at Evergreen Middle School, BCER provided a thorough assessment of the school’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire sprinklers, and technology systems and recommended repairs and replacements.
BCER provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, and telecom design services for Evergreen Middle School. Sustainability was a large focus of this project. In addition to replacing all fluorescent lighting with LED on the campus, BCER increased efficiency for mechanical and electrical systems to meet the goals of Jefferson County Schools.
