CSU – Industrial Science Building Renovation

The original 17,000-sf Industrial Science Building at Colorado State University was renovated with new chilled water service from the campus system including new building chilled water pumps supplying water to the new outdoor HVAC air handling units. The new units support space conditioning as a variable airflow system with terminal heating coils. All units have airside economizer packages. The building plumbing was completely updated using low flow fixtures and new piping. BCER signed the standard State Contract for Mechanical Engineering Design services; however, the project was designed with engineering services donated to the University at no cost to the State.
