CSU – The Foundry

BCER partnered with CSU to provide MEP/Technology/Life Safety consulting for the renovation of the CSU Corbett/Parmelee Dining Hall (a.k.a The Foundry) on the main campus.  This $10,000,000, 36,000 sf, complete gut and renovate was completed during an aggressive ‘summer renovation schedule,’ and opened on time to serve the 2018 Fall Semester students.

The newly renovated dining center has eight (8) distinct micro-restaurants to provide students and guests with a large variety of dining options.  The project incorporated low flow plumbing fixtures, LED lighting, and variable flow kitchen exhaust hoods to minimize operating costs for CSU.

The project also included the renovation of the Corbett lobby/lounge. The new lobby/lounge provides an area for students to utilize and created a main entrance to the facility that was not evident prior to the renovation.
