CU – Woodbury Hall

The University of Colorado Boulder began construction on a new 57,000-sf classroom facility and a 13,000-sf remodel, which included the upgrade of the historic Woodbury Hall. This included updating Woodbury Hall to ADA compliance and compliance to all current codes. Building communication systems were designed for a ‘plug and play’ environment to accommodate both the campus network and world-wide internet. BCER was responsible for the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services for the project. Precise design and painstaking coordination were required for tie-in to the central chilled water and heating water systems, as well as the primary power distribution system.
