Boettcher Mansion

The Boettcher Mansion was built in 1917 by Charles Boettcher on top of Lookout Mountain in Golden, Colorado and was used as a hunting lodge and summer home. In 1970, this historic structure was donated to Jefferson County and subsequently used as the County’s premier venue for weddings and meetings. BCER was proud to provide Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services for the project, which included renovations to the mansion, carriage house, and storage shed. The project also included the addition of a new snowmelt system along the walks. The mechanical and electrical renovation included a new heating water system, a new DX and chilled water-cooling system, distribution piping, controls, upgrades to site lighting, upgrades to interior lighting and power, new electrical service to comply with current codes, and new power for a future kitchen.
