Douglas County – Castle Pines Library

BCER provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Fire Alarm Consulting services for three new libraries in Douglas County: Castle Pines Library, Lone Tree Library, and Parker County Library. The 16,000-sf Castle Pines Library building features a dedicated children’s area full of unique elements including lava tiles and an interactive Lite-Brite-inspired Everbright grid of LED lights that can be twisted to create colorful designs. The library community spaces include a furnished terrace with a fireplace on the second story and several multipurpose rooms that provide a perfect setting for a meeting or study session. The new library offers a convenient drive-through book drop-off, and utilizes the latest technology systems. The new library successfully reflects the community’s growth and needs for increased amenities, spaces, and services.
