Aspen Pedestrian Mall

BCER provided electrical engineering services to to the City of Aspen to develop a master plan for electrical upgrades for the City’s Pedestrian Mall.  The upgrades encompass Hyman Avenue from Galena Street to Mill Street; Cooper Avenue from Galena Street to Mill Street; Mill Street from Hyman Avenue to Rubey Park; and Wagner Park.   The project goals included enhancements to lighting for public safety; eliminate misuse of mall power; increase power capacity at Wagner Park for specialty events; provide increased electrical capacity and flexibility for future city needs; and identify existing electrical services feeding the mall such as information kiosk and restroom building.
