BVSD-Arapahoe Ridge High School Technical Education Center

Arapahoe Ridge High School (also known as Boulder Technical Education
Center) is focused on preparing students for a career out of high school,
and is a part of the Boulder Valley School District. They offer unique
learning spaces such as:

  • Print Shop
  • Welding
  • Collision Repair
  • Auto Paint Booths
  • Auto Mechanics
  • Science Labs
  • Criminal Justice
  • Cosmetology
  • Sports Medicine
  • Video Production

This project was also completed in conjunction with upgrades to
the Sombrero Marsh Environmental Center, which was created in
partnership with Boulder Valley School District. The Sombrero Marsh
is a small wildlife habitat conservation area. The Environmental Center
includes classrooms, viewing and assembly areas, and a laboratory for
studying water and wetland soils.

BCER provided Technology and Security consulting services for this
project. We assisted in replacing the intercom system in the High School
shops, added motion sensors, security alarms, keypad entries, card
reader access, and exterior security cameras to these buildings.
