UCCS – Science & Engineering Building
BCER designed the technology systems for the 150,000-sf Science and Engineering Building at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, with innovative research and teaching laboratories for biology, physics, and engineering departments. The facility includes smart classrooms, interactive teaching spaces, and both wet and physical science laboratories with significant utility infrastructure. Smart classrooms include overhead projection, motorized screens, amplification/speaker systems, electronic document cameras/presenters, DVD/CD players, boundary microphones, “stand-alone” AV controllers (located in the podiums), and electronic whiteboards.
