APS- DSST Byers-Fitzsimmons Innovation Campus

BCER provided Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Design
services for this new 6-12 school in Aurora. This is the first DSST Public
School campus in Aurora. Focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering
and Math (STEM), this Fitzsimons Innovation Campus is in close
proximity to the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center, and
their partnership will provide students with many real-world science and
research opportunities.

This new school is 113,000 sf, and 3 stories. The first floor includes
administration, commons, gymnasium, kitchen/cafe, and classrooms.
The second and third floors consist of additional classrooms.
