Denver Botanic Gardens – Science Pyramid

BCER provided Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering for the unique design of the Science Pyramid at the Denver Botanic Gardens. BCER also provided Fire Protection Engineering and performance-based solutions to the required fire protection of this unique facility. The Science Pyramid was designed to encourage visitors to connect to the natural world by looking at plants through a scientific lens. BCER’s design, including state-of-the-art LED lighting and an under-floor air distribution system, enhances the visitors’ experience as they explore this multi-media, interactive space. BCER rose to the challenge of discreetly locating the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in this architecturally significant building.
