Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine

The Campus Master Plan included designs for 36 buildings (257,194 sf
total), the largest buildings being the Library and Student Union.
BCER provided a full campus infrastructure inventory, and campus
building assessment (MEP and structural conditions). A major part of the
assessment was to determine the level of functionality expected in the
occurrence of a hurricane or other event. This included checking with
compliance with IBC, ADA, earthquake and wind resistance standards for
post- secondary education use.

Our deliverables included reports that document the existing conditions
and recommendations for improvements in the form of new or improved
facilities, additional infrastructure, traffic and circulation plans, build out
timing, and phasing recommendations.

BCER was further commissioned to provide engineering designs for the
new student housing expected to finish in 2021. We are continuing our
services with them moving into other areas of replacement/repair.
